Review of Arizona Dream (1993) by Joao C — 25 Jul 2008
Left me untouched and uninspired, although it was trying so hard. The characters were so vague and I didn't like the acting that much because I've always hated the way Kusturica guides his actors. I loved the Raging Bull scene a lot, and how it was photographed; I think it is typical from a European director to pay tribute to films he love when making his 1st film in America.
I have to say, I pity whoever have to clean the mess in Kusturica's sets after shooting :D.
