From staying within his hometown/ the community in GONE BABY GONE & THE TOWN, to getting macro into international political suspense as ARGO, undeniably Ben Affleck has shown his ability for good control in directing.
Even though the story claims to be based on true event, it still sounds rather silly & playful to me for the first half. The last half hour is quite intense nevertheless, although unoriginal.
