Review of Argo (2012) by Tom G — 13 Mar 2015
Argo is a taught and suspenseful take on the real life story of CIA agent Tony Mendez and his wacky and unbelievable plan to save six American hostages from Iran. It's expertly written and directed by Afflek who finally proves to be a competent and subtle actor.
His character however, along with several others, are marginally enjoyable at best.
