Review of Argo (2012) by Ethan P — 13 Dec 2015

I don't think Argo should've come close to winning Best Picture. Ben Affleck is one of my favorite actors, but his acclaimed film plays more like a documentary than a movie. Alan Arkin and John Goodman offer some comic relief, but all the other characters are thin and undeveloped.

The plot is boring and the only tension is at the end on the plane. This film had a fascinating story to tell, but failed to tell it well.
