Review of Archive (2020) by Viroodiem — 31 Jul 2020
While parts of it may seem ripped from TVtropes for generic sci fi, Archive is the epitome of what good low budget sci fi can accomplish. It tells a compelling story from its own angle. Lead actor Theo James was solid in the film, Especially given as much screen time as he gets due to the nature of the story. Supporting cast do adequate job moving the plot along.
In all it was an enjoyable experience. Far FAR better than the other sci fi flick popped out by netflix the same week The Old Guard. Archive succeeds everywhere that film fails miserably. 8.
