Review of Archipelago (2016) by Danijel J — 03 Nov 2011
A very good movie worth your time and money. Many complaints on 'nothing happening for nearly 2 hours' but that's what makes this film so special. It's not like the other films on unrealistic, complex lives full of action and romance.
Nothing big HAS to happen. It's a nice, calm, relaxing, somewhat funny movie that people can relate to and just lay back and watch without tension or thinking even. Hogg did a great job portraying the lives of 'common people'.
For some, the first 1/2 hour may seem strange, but I found I was clinging on to every last second of the movie, unwilling to see the end credits roll. Hogg really pulled me into this one.
