A provocative fable about our ambivalent feelings towards financial elites. Gere is in fine form as a morally bankrupt financier who may or may not be getting away with murder. Impressive debut by the director/screenwriter.
Gere is so good in this I almost forgive him for Pretty Woman. ALMOST.
