Review of Ararat (2002) by Jonathan W — 28 Jul 2007
I need to see it again to better under the themes and symbolism. Still, a very unique and unconvential way to tell the story of a historical event and its impact upon the present. And of course with Egoyan, our interpretation of the past is not 20/20.
However, though he explores this theme, he still wants viewers to recognize the historicity and evil of the Armenian genocide.
