Review of Arachnophobia (1990) by Dan D — 13 Nov 2010
At first glance, Arachnophobia seems doomed to fail, but in fact turns out to be one of the best and scariest horror films to come out in quite a while. Jeff Daniels gives a great performance as the protagonist and an intelligent script and cinematography style that adds to the creepiness.
Put all these together and you have a truly brilliant and original horror film that doesn't need fictional monsters or serial killers to achieve its goals.
