Review of Aquaman (2018) by Randy Y — 09 Jan 2019
Initially had no interest in the movie, but a few decent reviews and I decided to go with no expectations (well, I still kinda expected it to be cheesy af)... HOWEVER, the film was pretty enjoyable. Instead of being too silly and over-using Aquaman's physique, There was a nice amount of intensity, humour, good pace, decent story, and the new world in the movie is impressive (without the CGI being too distracting).
Good action and slick cinematography.
