Review of Aquaman (2018) by Compi24 — 22 Dec 2018
"The Conjuring, "Insidious," and "Furious 7" director James Wan takes another swipe at the action genre with his adaptation of one of comic-book-dom's most infamous figures - "Aquaman.
" This is a surprisingly well-crafted and fun film, with a brisk pace, and a clear narrative (a bunch attributes not often found in other DCEU offerings), featuring a commanding lead performance from Jason Momoa and some jaw-dropping visuals.
It's certainly a bit more predictable and goofier than most comic book films, but I found that, in the end, it ended up being what it needed to be for the masses - a delight.
