It's not that bad of a film, but it's not all that great of a film either. Visually, it's spectacular, and I didn't feel overwhelmed with all the CGI. Aquaman also pulls off the cross over to the big screen well.
Ocean Master, Mera, Aquaman, and Black Manta weren't too far off from their comic counterparts. Plot wise, I felt like too much was jammed into the plot. So much that the characters didn't have enough time to really develop and connect with the audience.
Odd to say that given that this film is rather long. It's worth catching in theaters for the visuals alone.
