Once you get past the first 40 minutes of the movie (most of which is laborious exposition, ie "We need to find this in order to do this" times forty), it becomes a really fun action movie. Jason Momoa looks like he's having fun and sweeps the audience up along with him.
Patrick Wilson is fantastic as Orm/Ocean Master. I do wish that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Black Manta fit into the plot better. Dialogue was a little silly, but overall a fun movie.
