I've been a fan of ATHF for years since it first came out on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim". Now, I didn't see the movie theatrically. I waited for it to go to DVD. Overall, I was actually impressed with what the writers did.
Unlike the show, the plot was consistent throughout (at least for me it was), and the addition of new characters was a good treat. I know just for a fact that older, more mature audiences wont find it the least bit funny, but people that are in the fanbase, including myself, will find it worth while.
Though it's not the kind of movie that leaves you off the edge of your seat, but it's well worth the watch. Even though it's animated, it's been a big controversy about it's comparison to the infamous South Park Movie.
Other than that, I think it deserves an 8.5/10. But that's just my opinion.
