Review of Apt Pupil (1998) by Alex L — 22 Oct 2009
The blackmail battle fought between an ex-Nazi and a high school student took a diabolical hold of me throughout. Despite the lack of texture that could be offered by reading the novel, the events of this tale make the viewer question which character they like more: the Nazi war criminal or the curious teenager.
Listening to a story being told in whichever way, do you ever find yourself hoping for something that you can't quite describe to come out of it?
