Somewhat mixed reviews for this, but I thought it was pretty good. The leads are great, and there are some pretty good scares. The ending differs significantly from the novella. I'm not sure which one I liked better, but I think the ending in the movie works better then if they had filmed the ending from the book.
The subject matter is obviously weighty, which can give the film an odd feel at times.
