Review of Apron Strings (2008) by Evan L — 13 Apr 2010
A stylish and superbly-crafted film about parent-child relationships and inter-and intra-cultural tensions in contemporary south Auckland. Reminiscent story-wise of the unvarnished, thematically-rich human dramas of John Sayles, this is a genuinely impressive local production.
