Review of Appleseed: Ex Machina (2007) by David W — 10 Mar 2008
This movie was teh sh1z! I'm not a huge anime fan in general but this movie had everything. the first half-hour had me glued to the seat and the rest of the movie delivered. The art style was a unique and incredible meshing of traditional anime style with high-budget CG.
The overall look is probably a taste of things to come from within the genre. This movie just did everything right, even the little things. I enjoyed the hell out of it.
