Review of Appleseed: Ex Machina (2007) by Patrick H — 21 May 2008

Actually did not know John Woo where producing this one, but there you go, his name on the screen as the animated action kicks into gear. We know them from the first one (and the horrible anime befor), the heroes of the Appleseed mangas (one of my all time favourit mangas).

Well it's as expected - beautifull, though the computer animation gets a bit much and is no where as smooth as in the second GITS movie and the story is not realy up to the original Appleseed (no where near the manga), but the Cyberpunk is there and the plots and the government and.

. Well.. A good lokk see while you wait for the 3'rd gig of GITS: Stand Alone Complex ;).
