Review of Appaloosa (2008) by Camilo D — 08 Mar 2010
Although the plot is pretty typical for a western - A rancher terrorizing a town, two lawmen brought in to stop the rancher and his gang, one of the lawmen meets a local lady and falls in love, violence, drinking, duels, etc.
- it's a great film, and it stands out, in my mind, from others in the same genre. The acting is excellent (loved the choice of actors/actresses), and the overall ambiance of the film was enjoyable and easy to get hooked into.
