Review of Appaloosa (2008) by Robert T — 13 Sep 2010
Two men ride into a small town town to restore law and order - the perfect setting for a western.
Unfortunately this did not live up to my expectations: slow pace, monotonous characters an somewhat uneventful plot.
I couldn't care less about the characters and their faith...
And then came Viggo to save the day with a superb performance as the only likable character. That, a few food scenes, the somewhat amusing dialogs with Ed and the pride these men hold and live by just about saved this film for the genre lovers.
