This was very impressive. A fascinating culture, a beautiful protrayal, and an incredible score. I wanted to see this for so long, and now, I will always want to watch it. I have always loved to read about the Mayans, Incas, and Aztecs.
..the scenes of sacrifice I also have respect for. It may seem scary and brutal, indeed it is--but back then, and even now in some places, people really believed in rituals of appeasing their gods. Amazing film.
