Review of Apocalypto (2006) by Dustin W — 29 Oct 2012
When I first got done watching it I didn't like it. Thinking back on it more now I really enjoyed it. Mel Gibson does a superbed job at storytelling here. You could watch this film on mute and know exactly what is going on.
The fact that most of the second half of the film has little to no dialgue I thought was brilliant. Overall the film wasn't what I expected but I enjoyed it. A great transformation of character following the lead.
