Review of Apocalypto (2006) by Sean C — 09 Sep 2012
Just watched my blu-ray of it and had not seen it in a long time. I remember liking it and this time was no different. Also, kind of interesting to watch a movie about Mayans in 2012 :) Anyway the story is a little basic but not bad and not a terrible lot of character development but overall I found it suspensful with an exciting chase in the last half hour or so.
Interesting to watch international non-traditional actors speak in their native tounge which really helped put me in that world at that time. A solid effort by Mel Gibson and all involved.
