Review of Apocalypse Now (1979) by Andrew V — 05 Jul 2014
One of the most intense war films I've seen, apocalypse now holds up strongly as one of my favorites.
Act 1: the first act introduces our main character, played by Martin sheen, who is ordered to kill an AWOL colonial Kurtz. This part has a shit load of intensity. I don't want to spoil it, so I cannot say much. What I can say is, though, this movie is beyond intense. This is one of the hardest films I had to watch, it's not bad, just what goes on. If you want to see a heart stomping vietnam epic, then this is for you.
