Review of Apocalypse Now (1979) by Anders A — 18 Apr 2015
It took several screenings before it crawled under my skin, now I am embracing this as the best war-movie ever made. A razorblade towards U.S. military and it's warfare. Subpolitical in the way of portraiting the stupidity of the Vietnam war, absurd in the way of portraiting the leaders of this war, mentally insane in the portrait of their psyche.
The fucking horror. The Horror.
