Review of Apocalypse Now (1979) by Victor M — 07 Jun 2015
A film that should be in every list of greatest films. Vietnam will always be an open issue in American history and this movie reflects what that war was for many Americans. War is madness, cruelty, refugees, missing people and so on.
An action that reach some peaks of climax and then have some slow transits by the river. At 37'45" it is what it should one of the most iconic moments in cinema history when the helicopter fleet under Colonel Bill Kilgore's command, attacks the Vietnamese village playing Wagner´s "Ride of the Valkyries" as a psychological weapon.
