Francis Ford Coppola's epic Vietnam War tale about Captain Willard (Martin Sheen) on a mission to find a rogue Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando) and take him down in Cambodia. It has a great cast, a wonderfully surreal sense of storytelling with beautiful cinematography.
..it is a dark venture into the darkest deepest depths of the horrors of the Vietnam War. The whole cast is great, and while I still think "Godfather, Part II" is Coppola's finest work, this is up there with that film and the original "Godfather".
Fantastic war film, one of the finest.
