Review of Any Given Sunday (1999) by Lee B — 05 Jun 2011

I really admire this film. The game sequences are well orchestrated with a distinctive feel and the film is unified by some strong performances, namely Al Pacino and Jamie Foxx but the unique and experimental camera techniques, although well done can get quite irritating at points and disrupt my enjoyment, along with the ridiculously long duration clocking in at 150 minutes.

All over, it's a strong film and much better than I had expected.
