Review of Any Given Sunday (1999) by Don M — 08 Aug 2008
This movie, much like most Oliver Stone films, is very ADHD prone; the editing is all over the place, almost as if you're watching a 3 hour long montage, but it almost works for the picture. It's fast paced, gritty and balls-to-the-wall, and I think thats why it works so well.
The cast is amazing (even Cameron Diaz, whom I hate) and writing is fantastic. Probably one of the better films about football ever made.
