A story about the human spirit - seriously. Anvil are a couple of guys that keep persuing their passion, even as they suck (sorry, had to be said) and their career goes nowhere. It's actually quite sad and moving to watch. But the guys are eternal optimists (of a failed tour where everything went wrong, inluding facing a dive that refused to pay them because they were 2 hours late, one of them says "hey - at least there was a tour for something to wrong on". Their optimism is actually quite heart warming, because they just KNOW they are going to make it some day - 20 years in.
You are not going to like this movie because of the music; I like some metal, and I don't like Anvil's music. Rather, you will like this movie because of something you share with everyone else - you're human. Highly recommended.
