Review of Antonia's Line (1995) by Carl S — 02 Sep 2010
A delightful romp through a Dutch village after WWII seen through the eyes of one family---Antonia, her daughter, her daughter's daughter, and that daughter's daughter, the narrator of this story---with no sons and no husbands.
It is delightful, profound, philosophical, touching, and humorous all at the same time. Winner of the Academy Award for 1995 for Best Foreign Film.
