Review of Anthropophagous (1980) by Sean H — 13 Dec 2006
Epic sleaze from the master of the genre, D'Amato. It's your old standard tale of a group of (not quite) young people vacationing on a Greek Isle who run afowl of a madman who, after nearly starving to death, ate his wife and their infant child.
Now he's insane and wants to make the young people his dinner. What a trashy, mad, gory, clumpy and dumpy film this is. Yes, and how wonderful. For the lover of Italian sleaze horror in all of us (well.
..some of us, at least...).
