Mike Leigh, Mike Leigh... you let me dowwn. The cast gave subtle and wonderful performances in this depressing little film that was incredibly boring. The film would have been so much better if these same sad people had an actual story line.
Watching this overly long film was like watching glue dry. The film was so low budget. Most of the shots are single actor shots, which means that it was probably rare for them to be on the set at the same time.
Dull, dull, dull... A sad waste of this director's & the actor's talents. This may have been the longest year in my life.
