A great character film which develops as merrily as the wine that is drunk so often throughout the film.
Knowing about the improv techniques the film uses, I failed to see them, the acting and actors are that good. Mike Leigh has really captured the essence of what a good cast can do and also, perhaps, more importantly, what happiness looks like.
A truly great film.
