Review of Another Year (2010) by Arseniy V — 11 Sep 2011
A very interesting look at an ever-elusive treasure - the warmth of genuine human union. The interaction between the haves and the have nots. An attempt to understand the deepest reason why humanity splits into these two groups. What keeps the haves having? Why is that such an anomaly?
I wouldn't necessarily call this a fully formed thesis. But, if nothing else, it is certainly a: sophisticated, wholehearted and ultimately engrossing way of posing the question. In fact, between this and Happy-Go-Lucky - I'm now more than sold on seeing the rest of Leigh's work.
