Review of Another Woman (1988) by Craig M — 16 May 2008
Told largely in voiceover, Woody Allen's lucid and lyrical screenplay is hauntingly arresting. This is one of Gina Rowlands finest performances as an academic out-of-step with her own soul. As a story of loss, it is devastating, but as a tale of regeneration, it is profoundly warm and affecting.
