This is not one of Woody Allen's most celebrated films - in fact, I've hardly ever heard it mentioned or discussed. Nevertheless, I found it quite good. The use of Sven Nykvist as cinematographer really makes the film look a lot like Bergman's Scenes from a Marriage.
Great acting from Gena Rowlands, Mia Farrow and Gene Hackman (in a Woody Allen movie!). This film proves that Woody Allen isn't just a comedian.
