Review of Another Woman (1988) by Simona — 31 Oct 2007
This is probably one of Woody Allen's most underrated films. Made during his darker Bergman-influenced period, so unlike most of Woody's work, there isn't a laugh to be found in this film, but it's a top notch drama with an interesting story, layered characters, and excellent performances from Gena Rowlands, Ian Holm, and a surprisingly sweet Gene Hackman.
