This movie is very similar plot to 'A Cinderella Story' but in my opinon no where near as good. Its a okay movie for a one time watch but not something I'd recommend as a must see. It is worth a watch though.
The reason I feel the A Cinderella Story was better is due to it being a modern take on the story with how the two main characters meet, and although it is done very similar here it just didn't feel believable. The whole being 'taken in' by a woman who her mum worked for didn't really work as the 'evil step mum' either for me.
