Interesting Oxfordian theory of Shakespeare's authorship in question, which is played out like a fantastical conspiracy theory at times, with the screenplay trying too hard to parallel Edward de Vere's life with the works of Shakespeare.

Unlike the Stratfordian purists, if you can get past the premise there are some notable performances, well-shot, and solid costumes.
