Review of Anonymous (2011) by Fazley A — 31 Jan 2012
One who fancy British literature and history, particularly the time of William Shakespeare and Elizabeth , should add this Roland Emmerich's fictitious version of that legendary tale. But first he has to have a good concept of his plays and writings, otherwise he would fall in a dilemma while watching.
He also must have good idea about the rivalry between the Cecils n the Earls, the power struggle and politics, the family history of Tudors(!) and of course the effect of Theater on contemporary . These art-house productions on British history always fascinates me, this one was no exception.
I thoroughly enjoyed this vague but tremendously executed movie . It was a feast of eyes and melodious symphony to ears !
