Review of Anomalisa (2015) by Vincent S — 14 Jan 2016
Writer/Co-director Charlie Kaufman presents a film that is an introspective and lovely little story about a successful man caught in the monotony of life trying to find love. The love story is as awkward as it is beautiful and the theme of existentialism throughout the film some how makes you leave feeling pessimistic on what could be, but optimistic on what you can make it.
The film is simple and short, making you want more even with the knowledge that it could not have ended anywhere else.
