I gave it an extra star for the amazing stop action animation.
Anomalisa is a 'meh' story about a depressed, narcissistic and isolated guy undergoing a breakdown. A man that you don't have a reason to care about at the beginning, and several reasons not to care about at the end.
Spoiler alert: contains graphic puppet sex that could scar you for life. :-).
