Review of Anomalisa (2015) by Jason A — 21 Jan 2016
Who would've thought that the most human story of the year would be starring puppets. Kaufman is one of the most interesting artists in the business. It is certainly odd and probably not for everyone, but if you can make it though the mundane first act, you will be rewarded.
Its examination of modern life resonated with me in a way that few films this year have. Plus, it has a puppet sex scene that puts Team America to shame.
