Review of Anomalisa (2015) by Michel A — 25 Jan 2016
Using a beloved type of animation style, Charlie Kaufman delivers a thoughtful movie about the illusion of individuality. It may turn off the occasional viewer with its slow-building pace, but it should be a pleasing movie for the ones who decide to embrace it, carrying a bigger message than the one you might originally have thought; although the end game may feel kind of a let-down and [in a small way] rushed, it will still strike magnificently hard.
