Couldn't stay with it. The premise of how the the main phenomenon was handled made not sense to me. A very big deal is made that, for the most part, once you go in there is no getting out. Yet the protagonist and her party's first minutes and even hours inside are mostly uneventful.
Why couldn't they walk back out and give a report then go back in? Debunking, or attempting to debunk, the drama around the "once in you can't go out" seems like an elemental step anyone would have taken.
I just couldn't suspend disbelief after they missed this.
