A pretty well-made, simple story about an alien presence on Earth with stunning visuals. It shows the human failure to understand any intelligence that doesn't think along the same veins. Was it good? Yes.
Did it do justice to the complex protagonist character and the psychological nature of the overarching story? Absolutely not.
