Review of Annihilation (2018) by Joaquin V — 19 Mar 2018
It's a great idea for a film, I give credit to the book, but the execution has some problems. The colors, the edition, the CGI, some dialogs on this are terribly ugly and pretentious in a bad way. The final minutes are a joy to watch, but I can´t ignore some scenes with no other purpose than letting the screenwriter speak in big cliche dialogs.
The supporting characters are nowhere to interesting, and the performance of Natalie Portman has highs and lows.
