Review of Annihilation (2018) by Steven B — 26 Mar 2018
An interesting, if a bit confusing at times, movie. It is visually stunning and very well put together. A mostly female cast does a very good job. Basically this is a SciFi movie based on Jeff Vandermee's award winning SciFi novel.
The story is not told in chronological order, but I figured it out soon. Natalie Portman is the focus and she does a good job. It must of held my attention because we talked about it all through lunch.
Recommended, but don't expect too much.
